A neodymium magnet, also known as NdFeB magnet, NIB magnet, or Neo magnet, the most widely-used type of rare-earth magnet, is a permanent magnet made from an alloy of neodymium, iron, and boron to form the Nd2Fe14B tetragonal crystalline structure. Developed in 1982 by General Motors and Sumitomo Special Metals, neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet ever made. They have replaced other types of magnet in the many applications in modern products that require strong permanent magnets, such as motors in cordless tools, hard disk drives, High quality Sound system and magnetic fasteners.
Neodymium Magnet Feature:
Neodymium magnets are easy to be corrosive. Coating or Plating
applied to prevent corrosion and mechanical damage, such as
colorful Zinc, Single Nickel, Double Nickel, NiCuNi, Gold,
Silver,Black Epoxy, Nickel+Epoxy.
1. Super strong Br Resident induction.
2. Excellent demagnetization resistance capability.
3. Reasonable Price relative to its high magnetic properties.
4. Coating application is necessary for Neodymium Magnet.
Neodymium Magnet are available in sintered as well as bonded forms. Sintered Neodymium Magnet will produce the highest magnetic properties. NdFeB is sensitive to heat and should not be used in the environments that exceed 200 degree centigrade. Neodymium Magnet are brittle (though not as brittle as the SmCo types), and machining operations should be performed prior to magnetization, using diamond tools. We are equipped to fabricate these materials to blueprint specifications.
