    Product Description

    10:1 Mix rate and Making mould Application silicone rubber:

    A kind of room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber in condensation silicone rubber. It's generally named as two part silicone rubber and rtv silicone rubber, Part A is a flowable liquid, part B is the curing agent or catalyst. It's whie color and mainly used for mold making.

    Used for making molds of concrete stone,GRC, gypsum decoration , plaster ornaments, fiberglass products, polyester decoration, unsaturated resin crafts, polyresin crafts, polyurethane, bronze, wax, candle, and similar products .

    HY-625 Rtv2 mixed concrete's liquid rubberwood de silicone mold liquid silicone rubber for Molds is with good fluidity and moderate hardness which is suitable for middle size product with pattern by pouring operation, especially popular for manufacturer of resin crafts and gypsum decoration . Besides ,additive is available for brushing operation.It's one of our best selling silicone !

    For condensation cure silicone: the mixing ratio is 1:1, so if you order 40kg,the package can be 20kg part A and 20kg Part B.
    For condesation cure silicone: The mixing ratio is 100:4 and we will provide 4% free catalyst.
    Operation tips

    (1) prepare the original molds:

    Make sure your original molds perfect. fix it on a board. And fix the original mold on a board, then used four piece of board to enclose the original molds.

    (2) Weight part A & part B according to the mix ratio recommended:
    Weighting two parts in Electronic scale with mix ratio 100:2 or 100:5.
    Eg: Take 100g part A and 2g part B

    (3) Stirring evenly
    Remember to mix part A and part B evenly, otherwise the silicon rubber will be partly solidified and bring problems in your final operation. What's more, the finished molds will meet a short life.All of these will cause a waste of silicon rubber.

    (4)Vacuum pumping
    For releasing the air bubbles, after mixing evenly, put the mixture in to vacuum pumping for 3-5 minutes, without exception, this step takes less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, it will cause cross linking reaction, and no more further steps will be available.

    (5) Pouring or Brushing
    Pouring:Pouring the silicone rubber to the frame from a corner, make the silicone rubber flow to the frame smooth.After 3-5 hours later, can demould the silicone mold,

    It's will be better for mold to demould after 24 hours

    A: Evenly brush the first layer of mixed silicon rubber on the model. Normally the first layer is brushed thinly to cover the model and the clay, so it should not be too thick
    B: Brush the second layer of silicon rubber till the first one is cured. Normally the second layer should be 3-5mm, Cover a gauze or cloth on it when the second cross linking reaction goes on, and use a brush pen or a brush to avoid any interstices. Evenly brush the third layer of mixed silicon rubber on the gauze or cloth. This step will longer the mold using age, tear-strength, tension strength and duplication times.

    C: Outer molding
    Way 1: Make a square frame with four pieces of wooden boards, and make sure the wooden boards are fixed firmly, then pour the mixed liquid plaster into the frame. Shave the plaster-made outer mold with a scraper when the plaster is going to cured.

    Way 2: brushing resin on the surface after silicone mold, Cover a gauze or cloth on it, then brushing the resin again. Repeat the operation for 2-3 times


    1. For simple pattern products we suggest use pouring operation way , which will be very easy to operate and demould. Pourable silicone require light viscosity which will be easy to flow smoothly and easy to de-air .

    2.For delicate pattern products we suggest use brushing operation way , which can copy the pattern exactly . Brushable silicone require high viscosity which won't be easy to flow away and easy to brush .

    3. We sugges to set the silicone mold for another 12 hours after demould before put into large production .

    4, Why will the silicone mold be reused only for a few times?

    It can be due to the following reasons:

    a. Adding too much silicone oil in to silicon rubber. Silicon oil is an additive which can destroy the molecular weight of silicone rubber and reduce the tension and tear strength.

    b. Using the silicon rubber with a high hardness to make molds for small sized products with delicate and intricate designs or the silicon rubber with a low hardness to makes molds for large sized products with simple designs.

    (Notes: we should choose the silicon rubber specifically according to the requirements of our products to avoid this problem.)

    So, How to choose suitable hardness silicone for your product?

    - For products (within 20cm),

    with intricate designs, soft silicone is suitable, such as 10-20 shore A.

    - For products (20cm-80cm),

    with intricate designs, 20-25 shore A is suitable.

    with simple designs, 25-30 shore A is suitable.

    - For products (80cm-150cm),

    with intricate designs, 25 shore A is suitable.

    with simple designs, 30-35 shore A is suitable.

    - For products (more than 150cm),

    with intricate designs, 25-28 shore a A is suitable.

    with simple designs, 35-40 shore A is suitable.
