Portable Handheld Infrared SF6 Gas Analyzer & Leak Detector | 220V, 1-Year Warranty
Product Description
The MY-303 SF6 Intelligent Leak Detector is a professional portable
testing instrument dedicated to sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) gas leak
localization and concentration monitoring. Built with
high-sensitivity sensing technology, it achieves ppm-level
detection accuracy, capable of identifying trace SF₆ leaks that
cannot be detected by traditional bubble testing, and accurately
locates leak points in a short time.
This device adopts an industrial-grade anti-drop housing and a
handheld flexible probe design, adapting to complex on-site working
conditions such as substations, outdoor power facilities and
electrical production workshops. It is widely used in daily
inspection, installation commissioning and fault maintenance of
high-voltage electrical equipment, helping power operators and
electrical manufacturers improve inspection efficiency, reduce gas
loss, and ensure the safe and stable operation of SF₆-insulated
equipment.

Features
PPM-Level High Detection Accuracy
Adopts advanced sensing technology with a detection limit down to
ppm level, effectively captures micro leaks at an early stage, and
avoids equipment insulation failure and gas emission caused by
unnoticed leakage.
Real-Time Display & Smart Alarm
Equipped with a high-definition LCD screen to display real-time SF₆
concentration, leakage grade and equipment status dynamically;
supports adjustable audible and visual alarm thresholds, and
triggers an immediate alert when leakage exceeds the preset value.
Industrial-Grade Rugged & Portable Design
Reinforced rubber-protected housing features excellent drop
resistance and wear resistance; the lightweight handheld body is
suitable for mobile inspection in various industrial and field
scenarios.
Flexible Probe for Full-Coverage Detection
Matched with an extended flexible cable and a metal handheld probe,
it can reach narrow gaps, valve joints, internal positions of
switchgear and other hidden areas to achieve dead-angle-free leak
detection.
Long Battery Life for Field Operation
Built-in large-capacity rechargeable lithium battery supports
long-time continuous work without external power supply, fully
meeting the demand of all-day on-site inspection and emergency
troubleshooting.
Convenient Data Management
Supports data storage and historical record query, which
facilitates operators to sort out inspection logs, standardize
maintenance workflows, and realize traceable detection data.

Frequently Asked Questions from Customers
Question 1: Test voltage cannot reach the rated value
Customer: When testing long power cables, the output voltage only
reaches about 70% of the target and stops rising, with no fault
alarm triggered. What causes this?
Manufacturer: This is usually caused by mismatched load capacity or
insufficient power supply. Please troubleshoot step by step: First,
check if the reactor series-parallel connection matches the test
object’s capacitance; add parallel reactors for large-capacity
cables to reduce equivalent impedance. Second, confirm the on-site
input voltage is stable and not 10% below the rated value, and
avoid sharing the power line with other high-power equipment.
Third, check if the test object surface is damp with leakage
traces, which will increase active power loss. If the problem
remains, raise the initial tuning voltage properly and retest.
Question 2: Over-voltage protection trips suddenly during test
Customer: During GIS withstand voltage testing, the device triggers
over-voltage protection and trips right away when voltage
approaches the set value, stopping the test. How to fix this?
Manufacturer: Please check in order: First, confirm if the
over-voltage protection threshold is set too low, and adjust it to
1.1–1.2 times the standard test voltage as required. Second, check
if the voltage divider signal cable is loose or affected by
electromagnetic interference, which leads to false voltage
sampling. Third, listen for discharge sounds inside the test
object, which may mean partial breakdown. If the equipment itself
is faulty, stop the test immediately and contact us; do not
disassemble the device privately.
Question 3: Control box has no display after power-on
Customer: After long-distance transportation to the site, the
control box has no screen display and no indicator light is on when
powered on. What should we check first?
Manufacturer: Please inspect as follows: First, confirm the on-site
power socket works normally and the power cord is connected
reliably. Second, check if the control box power fuse is blown due
to transportation vibration; replace it with a fuse of the same
specification if needed. Third, check if the power switch is
damaged by impact. Do not disassemble the internal circuit board
without permission. If the fault cannot be cleared, contact our
after-sales team for remote guidance or on-site maintenance.
Question 4: Distorted output voltage waveform
Customer: We found obvious distortion in the output voltage
waveform during the test, and the harmonic content does not meet
the standard. How to solve this?
Manufacturer: This problem is usually related to on-site power
supply and wiring interference. First, use an independent dedicated
power supply for the test, and avoid sharing the circuit with
frequency converters or welding machines. Second, ensure all test
equipment uses single-point grounding to avoid circulating current
interference from multi-point grounding. Third, adjust the
resonance frequency properly to avoid the power grid harmonic band.
Also, keep reactors and voltage dividers away from large metal
objects to reduce stray interference.
